These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of www.gvstorage.com and the online tools available through it, including unit search, online reservations and rentals, online payments, the tenant portal and our contact forms (together, the "Site"). The Site is operated by Green Valley Storage ("Green Valley Storage," "we," "us" or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Your Rental Agreement Governs Your Storage Rental
Using the Site to reserve or rent a storage unit or parking space does not replace your rental agreement. Every rental is governed by the rental agreement and any addenda you sign with us (your "Rental Agreement") and by Nevada law. If anything in these Terms conflicts with your Rental Agreement, your Rental Agreement controls.
2. Unit Information, Pricing and Availability
We work to keep the unit sizes, features, photos, prices and availability shown on the Site accurate, but this information is provided for general reference and may change without notice. Unit dimensions are approximate, and some units are not perfect rectangles, so their listed size may reflect total square footage rather than length and width. Photos may show a representative unit rather than the exact unit you rent. Online rates and promotions may apply only to select units and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. If a reservation or rental is based on an obvious error in price, size or availability, we may correct the error or cancel the reservation or rental and refund any amount you paid for it.
3. Reservations and Online Rentals
A reservation holds a unit type for you on the terms shown when you reserve and in your confirmation. A reservation is not a rental: a rental begins only when your Rental Agreement is in effect. To rent online, you must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate and complete information, sign your Rental Agreement and provide any required documents, such as a government-issued photo ID and, if you are storing a vehicle, its current registration and proof of insurance. We may decline or cancel a reservation or rental request if required information is missing or inaccurate.
4. Payments and AutoPay
Payments made through the Site are processed by our third-party payment and property management providers. By entering a payment method, you confirm that you are authorized to use it. If you enroll in AutoPay, you authorize us to charge your saved card for rent and other amounts due under your Rental Agreement when they are due, until you cancel AutoPay. AutoPay is optional: you can uncheck it at checkout or ask us to turn it off at any time by contacting your facility. Fees, late charges and other charges are set by your Rental Agreement.
5. Text Messages, Calls and Email
When you give us your phone number or email address, you agree that we may contact you by text message, phone call and email about your reservation, rental, account, payments and any notices required by your Rental Agreement or by law. Promotional text messages are sent only if you separately opt in, and opting in is never a condition of renting. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. 6. Tenant Protection Plan, Rate Lock and Promotions
Descriptions of our Tenant Protection Plan, 6-Month Rate Lock Guarantee, free disc lock and other offers on the Site are summaries only. Eligibility, coverage limits, exclusions and other details are governed by your Rental Agreement and the applicable plan or offer terms.
7. Tenant Portal and Account Security
You are responsible for the information you provide through the Site and for keeping your tenant portal login codes, gate access code and other account details private. Let us know right away if you believe someone has used your account or access code without permission.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site to break the law; to provide false information or reserve or rent in someone else's name without their permission; to access another person's account; to interfere with the Site's security or operation; to scrape, copy or collect data from the Site by automated means; or to upload anything harmful, such as viruses or malicious code.
9. Our Content
The Site and its content, including text, photos, graphics and logos, belong to Green Valley Storage or our licensors and are protected by law. You may view and print Site content for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
The Site uses third-party services, such as our property management and online rental platform, payment processors, maps and customer reviews, and may link to other websites. Those services and websites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your information.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Green Valley Storage will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits our obligations or your rights under your Rental Agreement, or any rights you have under law that cannot be waived.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any dispute about these Terms or the Site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, unless your Rental Agreement provides otherwise.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will show when they were last changed. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
